Voice Coaching
Building the Embodied Voice
The voice is a microcosm of YOU and it needs all of you present to perform its best. My voice coaching goes much deeper and wider than traditional voice lessons to account for the whole human as instrument. I use the Integrative Alexander Technique, functional movement, YogaForTrauma practices and Dynamic Neural Stabilization techniques to help singers feel connected to their bodies.
One of the biggest challenges singers face is learning how to manage their breath. This is especially apparent for singers who've gone through transformative physiological changes -- pregnancy, menopause, illness, injury, trauma and even weightloss can all impact how our respiratory system functions. When your breathing is restored to its optimal function the body can work as it's intended and you can focus on what truly matters - your singing.
I offer private voice coaching sessions both in-person in San Francisco or online. I offer new clients an introductory session to get an overview of how we can work together before moving into packages or monthly containers that allow you to master and integrate the lessons learned.
Workshops & Courses
In addition to my private coaching, I offer workshops and courses designed specifically for singers. Existing singer-focused programs are listed below, but all of my offerings are appropriate for singers. I also offer custom-tailored workshops and masterclasses for choirs and singers -- please reach out to discuss more options.
