Motherhood
Information and resources to help you navigate motherhood.

Being at the lowest point in my life and body actually taught me to trust my body more.
I spent most of the last year rebuilding my body after two, soon to be 3, knee surgeries. I was thrown into the deep end as I didn’t have a lot of understanding about this area of my body or how to heal from something so drastic.

Why Women Need a Different Kind of Support
When it comes to training bodies, I think it’s imperative that women get specialized support—but not for the reasons you might expect.
When I first started diving into movement and function, I was coming from the perspective that women’s bodies just need a different kind of support. However, from a purely biological standpoint, men’s and women’s bodies aren’t that different. So why am I saying women need something different?

The Power of Breathing
A good breath can help build core strength, calm your nervous system, and help facilitate healing. When you’re navigating postpartum, injury or illness, breathing is something you can DO when everything else feels off limits. However, since breathing is so innate to our biology, most people overlook just how powerful good breathing can be! The simple fact is that most people don’t breathe very well. I mean, they are alive and that's great, but they're not actually gettin
